Tranquil Oasis In The Heart of The City: Little Venice, London.

It is easy to get swept away in the craziness of London’s bustling city life. Hidden from all the urban city lies Little Venice. Just north of the Paddington area is where you find these gorgeous canals. The canals run through the town and create a unique experience.

Skip out of the expensive boat rides through the canal and take yourself on a walk through the mazes of the waterways. Walk on the sidewalk and listen to the ducks and birds fly into the seemingly still waters. Smell the fresh air and soak in the vibrant colors around you. Each houseboat that bobs in the water is specialized with a different name and color. The willow trees lie so perfectly along the water to create shade over the boats.

How To Spend a Day In Little Veince:

Instead of dining in at the on-water restaurants instead go to a local market and buy snacks and drinks for a quiet picnic. On the canal sidewalks, you find many parks where you can lay out a blanket and enjoy a picnic for yourself and whoever else you may want to join. This is a perfect way to soak up Little Venice on a budget.
