During my travel abroad in London in, the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to embark on a journey I will never forget. I grew as an individual, student, and PR professional. Over the four-week journey, my fellow classmates and I got to meet with many different PR agencies. Each visit was unique in its own way. Some of the agencies had us do hands-on work by learning what it would be like to work in the field, where others had us do a Q and A and listen to presentations. This experience was a way to showcase professional skills in networking and communication. Along with meeting with a variety of agencies we also got to visit many historical sights and learn about them in the eyes of a global strategist. During my study abroad we were also learning from professors from the University of Oregon who came along with us. In these classes we focused on Global strategic communications and develop our creative briefing skills.
